The Conversion Signal Multiplier
Google’s bidding is only as smart as the data you feed it.
Most smaller accounts do not give Google enough conversion data to learn properly. The Conversion Signal Multiplier tracks and values the actions customers take before they buy, giving Google far more useful data to work with. That means smarter bidding, less wasted spend and better results from a smaller budget.
This is the advanced setup agencies usually reserve for their biggest clients — made accessible to businesses your size.

It’s powered by Smart Bidding . Strategies such as Maximise Conversions, Maximise Conversion Value, target CPA and target ROAS analyse thousands of signals in real time and set a bid for every individual auction.
No person could make those decisions at the same speed or scale.
But automation has one major weakness: it cannot learn without enough high-quality conversion data. Give it too little and it starts making decisions on weak evidence — spending on the wrong traffic, learning too slowly and wasting budget while it tries to work out what a valuable customer looks like.
How much conversion data Google needs — per campaign, each month
And that is per campaign — not across your whole account. A business generating 40 sales a month across three campaigns may not be giving any one campaign enough data to learn properly.
Google will tell you the bidding strategy needs more time and more conversion data. Most agencies will tell you the same — and technically, they’re right. But “keep spending and wait” is not a strategy for a smaller advertiser that may never generate enough final sales in each campaign.
PPC Vibe solves the problem at its source. Instead of waiting for more sales, I capture and value the meaningful actions already happening before the sale — then feed those signals back into Google.
Rather than waiting for the algorithm to find more data, I give it more useful data to learn from.
In almost every account I audit, the biggest limitation is not the ads or the keywords. It is the quality and volume of conversion data behind the bidding.
There are two ways to give Google enough data.
Spend your way there
Keep increasing the budget and wait — sometimes for months — while each campaign slowly collects enough sales to learn from. It is expensive, it is slow, and a smaller account may never generate enough purchases in each campaign to reach that point. You are paying Google to learn, using your money.
Use the signals you already have
Customers who do not buy today still show valuable intent: adding to basket, starting checkout, calling, beginning a form or viewing key pages. I capture those actions, weight them according to their value and feed the strongest signals into Google’s bidding. Instead of learning from a handful of sales, Google gets hundreds of high-quality signals from activity already happening on your website.
Door 2 is the Conversion Signal Multiplier.

How the setup works
A structured measurement process that gives Google better data — without handing over control of your website.
Find the signals that matter
I review your account and website to identify the actions that genuinely indicate buying intent — such as qualified calls, form starts, booked appointments and completed enquiries. Not every action deserves to influence the bidding. The first job is deciding which signals are meaningful enough to use.
Build the measurement plan
I define exactly what should be tracked, when each conversion should fire and how the signals should be passed into Google Ads. Your developer or tracking specialist receives a clear implementation brief. Where appropriate I may recommend a server-side setup, but the final implementation method remains your decision.
Weight each signal properly
I create and configure the conversion actions in Google Ads, then assign values that reflect the relative importance of each one. A form start should not carry the same weight as a qualified enquiry or completed sale. This helps Google optimise towards genuine commercial value rather than simply chasing the easiest action.
Give Google better data
Once the tracking has been implemented and checked, the selected mid- and bottom-funnel signals are introduced into the bidding. Google now has more meaningful data to learn from, helping it make better decisions without waiting for months of final-sale data to accumulate.
How it’s delivered: I handle the measurement strategy and Google Ads configuration, then provide your developer with a precise implementation plan. I can work directly with your developer — or introduce a trusted technical partner where needed — to help ensure the tracking is set up as intended.
So why isn’t everyone doing this?
Because it is advanced work.
Most Google Ads accounts track a lead or sale and stop there. Building a value-based bidding system means identifying the actions that genuinely predict a sale, weighting them properly and feeding Google more useful data without confusing the algorithm with weak signals.
That requires strategy, judgement and careful setup — and it is not part of most PPC practitioners’ everyday toolkit.
Big advertisers can often spend their way to enough data. Smaller businesses cannot.
That is why I built the Conversion Signal Multiplier : to give smaller accounts the bidding intelligence usually associated with much larger budgets.
What better conversion data gets you
Smarter bidding on a smaller budget — Google has more meaningful information to base each decision on.
Less wasted spend while it learns — your budget is not being used to compensate for thin conversion data.
Faster, more stable optimisation — campaigns can learn from a steady flow of signals rather than waiting for occasional final sales.
Better-quality leads, not simply more leads — weighted values tell Google which outcomes matter most to your business.
Big-account bidding intelligence without the big-account budget — advanced value-based optimisation built for smaller advertisers.
Enterprise experience. Applied to smaller budgets.
The Conversion Signal Multiplier is not a theory.
I have implemented advanced conversion frameworks and value-based bidding on major UK accounts across retail, travel and national services — some spending over £1 million every month.
That expertise comes from 14 years inside leading agencies including WPP, Dentsu, MediaCom, Wavemaker, iProspect, Brainlabs and Merkle.
PPC Vibe applies the same principles to businesses spending £1,500–£15,000 a month — where better data can make an even bigger difference.
